A 60-year-old man presented with an enlarged blind spot in his left eye. He reported blurred vision after uncomplicated cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation in his left eye. The blurred vision slowly improved over 3 weeks after surgery, and then he noticed a large blind spot in his left eye. He had no symptoms in his right eye.
