There is encouraging news on the front of ocular health for older Americans. According to a new study published online in the journal Ophthalmology ,senior citizens have better eyesight than senior citizens did a generation ago.Survey data, which was collected from 1984 to 2010, found that in 1984, poor eyesight gave older adults trouble reading in 23 percent of those analyzed. By 2010, that number shrunk to 9.7 percent. These also included a significant drop in vision problems that limited the ability of older people to perform normal daily activities, such as dressing and running errands. To see more details visit,www.examiner.com
